I love a good star-crossed lover tribute video as much as the next tween, but this recap of Homeland set to Taylor Swift is just too much. Or is it?
Will Brody and Carrie be the next Chuck and Blair, because I can’t even disclose how many Chuck/Blair YouTube tributes I watched between 2008 & 2010.
By using P!nk’s “Sober,” this video illustrates that “Carrie gets drunk” a lot. Much like P!nk* in her derelict days, Carrie stumbles around and makes out with a guys who get in barfights. Seems like a legit comparison to me.
If this tribute doesn’t cause a massive Goo Goo Dolls revival, I don’t know what will. I especially love the sequence at 0:43 when Jessica Brody slams the Qur’an down and cries over Brody’s prayer rug. ”I DON’T THEY UNDERSTAND!”
So much drama expressed by the sepia tone and the title sequence and these long cross dissolves!
