StyleList @ Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

AOL

When AOL built their ‘Living Network’ in 2010, I was hired by producers at StyleList, My Daily and Slashfood to shoot and edit content for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Art Basel, ROFLCon, The Webby Awards and other special events.  After the Huffington Post/AOL merger many of these properties were obtained and rebranded by Huffington Post editors, but I’m still extremely proud of the amount of work I cranked out in a short period of time.

StyleList launched their now burgeoning video network in with a series called “Day in the Life,” which profiled the activities of some of the lesser-known players within the industry. After fashion week was moved to Lincoln Center in 2011, these videos were projected onto huge screens on the main floor.  For a long-time fashion industry spectator, it was quite the sight.

StyleList became a key presence behind-the-scenes at Mercedes-Benz fashion week, using bloggers and other social influencers as field correspondents. We also jumpstarting a series where staffers tried to wear impractical trend pieces around the AOL office, starting with these custom nine-inch platform heels made for Lady Gaga.
